Terms & Conditions – Budget TV Repairs

Welcome to Budget TV Repairs! By using our services, you agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully before booking a repair.

1. Call-Out Fee Policy

  • If we repair your TV during our visit, we won’t charge a call-out fee—just the repair cost.
  • If you request a diagnosis but decide not to proceed with the repair, a call-out fee of R250 will apply.

2. Repair Estimates & Costs

  • Once we inspect your TV, we’ll provide a repair estimate. Prices depend on the fault, parts needed, and complexity of the repair.
  • If additional repairs are required after the initial diagnosis, we’ll inform you before proceeding.

3. Parts & Warranty

  • We use quality parts, but availability depends on the model and issue.
  • Warranties on repairs and parts will be discussed per case, but general repairs have a 6-month warranty (unless otherwise stated).
  • Warranty covers parts replaced and labor but not damage caused by power surges, mishandling, liquid spills, or further tampering.

4. On-Site Repairs & Liability

  • All repairs are done on-site at your premises. 
  • We take care when handling your TV, but we are not liable for pre-existing damages or issues beyond the repair scope.

5. Payment Terms

  • Payment is due immediately after the repair is completed.
  • We accept cash, EFT, and Card payments. No cash payment 

6. Cancellation & Rescheduling

  • If you need to cancel or reschedule, kindly inform us at least 3 hours before the scheduled visit.
  • Late cancellations or no-shows may result in a charge.

7. Customer Responsibilities

  • Ensure the TV is in an accessible location for inspection and repair.
  • Provide accurate details about the issue to help us diagnose the problem efficiently.

8. Limitations & Exclusions

  • We do not repair TVs with severe physical damage e.g., cracked screens, water damage.
  • We do not offer refunds on services rendered unless proven negligence on our part.
